Scissor-Cut Letter Art Exhibition at Kansai Airport (Until July 26, 2026)
An exhibition by Japanese cut-paper lettering artist Kirimonji Jojosuke is now on view at Hotel Nikko Kansai Airport.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of his work, the exhibition features a range of pieces including newly released works, offering a look back at his artistic journey. One highlight is a series expressing “thank you” in around 20 languages, showcasing the beauty of words and cultures.
All works are created by cutting a single sheet of paper freehand, without sketches—resulting in delicate and flowing designs.
Directly connected to Kansai International Airport, this exhibition is easy to visit before departure, after arrival, or during an airport-area stay.
