Held in Kashii, Izumisano—one of the key locations of the historic Siege of Osaka—this event brings the samurai era to life
The highlight is the popular “Sports Chanbara” battle (a safe, modern-style sword-fighting experience).
Both children and adults can experience the thrill of becoming a samurai warrior (advance registration required).
Spectacular samurai parades and powerful matchlock gun (tanegashima) demonstrations —feel as if you’ve stepped back in time.
The venue also features energetic Yosakoi dance and Japanese taiko drum performances, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the day.
In spring, around 70 colorful carp streamers stretch across the Kashii River, adding a seasonal charm unique to this time of year.
