In full bloom, Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms create a stunning view with the sea, Kansai Airport, and departing planes.
Izumisano also offers popular and hidden hanami spots to enjoy sakura in different settings.
The Taiko Bridge area in Rinku Park is known as the “Sunset Hill.” From the bridge, Shiki-no-Izumi lies directly west, and on the spring and autumn equinoxes, the sun sets perfectly behind it.
It’s one of the best spots to enjoy a breathtaking sunset.

On April 29 (Showa Day) each year, the Shinryoku Yamabushi Festival features Shittō Goma (fire ritual), mochi tossing for good fortune, and a fire-walking ceremony.

Each year, September 22–24 includes Autumn Equinox Day, a national holiday in Japan.

Plum Blossoms Along Kashii River & Ogami Shrine
Located in Kaminogo, Izumisano City, Ogami Shrine is home to Osaka’s oldest Kasuga-style shrine building, a nationally designated Important Cultural Property.
A short walk south of the shrine leads to a 1 km stretch of plum trees along Kashii River, where white and pink blossoms create a stunning spring landscape.
