Dance and Celebrate! More than just watching—immerse yourself in the vibrant spirit of Senshu’s summer.

Held every October in Izumisano City, just a short trip from Kansai International Airport, the Senshu YOSAKOI Eejanaika Festival derived from the phrase “Eejanaika,” a spirited dance movement that swept through Japan in the late Edo to early Meiji periods, expressing people’s hopes for a brighter future.
First launched in 2004, this festival was created to bring energy and vitality back to the community through Yosakoi dance. Today, it has grown into a dynamic celebration where participants of all ages, regions, and nationalities come together.

At the venues, dancers in vibrant costumes perform powerful routines one after another.
Guests naturally find themselves joining in the rhythm, surrounded by an atmosphere of joy and vibrant energy. It’s a one-of-a-kind cultural spectacle, offering countless moments worth capturing and sharing.
