Record-Breaking Passenger Numbers at Kansai International Airport in August 2025 ✈

In August 2025, Kansai International Airport welcomed a record number of travelers.
International visitors increased by 119%, and Japanese passengers by 118% compared to the same month last year.
As a result, international passengers reached 2.55 million,
while the total number of travelers rose to 3.17 million — both the highest figures ever recorded.

Furthermore, the number of flight movements also reached an all-time high — both for international services and for the total across domestic and international flights —
making access from around the world more convenient than ever.
