National Towel Brush Painting Postcard Competition
At Ebuno Izumi no Mori Hall, an exhibition of picture postcards painted using Towel Brush Painting, a unique technique created from repurposed Senshu towels, will be held. Originating in Izumisano, the birthplace of Japan’s towel industry, this special brush technique gives each artwork a bold and vibrant expression. Visitors can enjoy the distinctive textures and strokes of towel brush art while admiring the award-winning and selected pieces.
This competition has gained recognition as an initiative to promote the beauty of Senshu towels and the tradition of Japanese picture postcards to a global audience. Through this exhibition, visitors can experience the fusion of Izumisano’s proud local towel industry and Japan’s rich postcard culture, while appreciating artistic works infused with the charm of the region.

🚉 Access:Approximately a 25-minute walk from Izumisano Station on the Nankai Main Line
Take the Nankai Wing Bus from Izumisano Station on the Nankai Main Line, get off at the Izumisano City Hall Mae bus stop, and it’s about a 3-minute walk.
🚗 Parking:Underground Parking (8:00 AM – 10:30 PM / Free for the first 2 hours, ¥100 per additional hour / 231 spaces)
Outdoor Parking (8:00 AM – 10:30 PM / Free of charge / 67 spaces)
※The parking lot is shared with the adjoining facility and has limited spaces. Please use public transportation whenever possible when visiting.
