Renovated Traditional House. A Homely Guesthouse with Shared Spaces
HOSTEL KURIYA OSAKA, opened in April 2024 by a travel enthusiast owner, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The second floor features three private rooms with beds, but the real charm lies in the shared spaces, such as the traditional Japanese-style room, balcony, and kitchen, where guests can freely interact with each other. The noren (curtain) displays a pine tree pattern, and the shoji (sliding paper doors) in the Japanese room are adorned with cranes and pine trees, reflecting the owner’s wish for guests to experience Japanese culture. This is a hostel where you can truly enjoy Japan’s hospitality. Please note that the location may be a bit tricky to find, so it’s recommended to use Google Maps for easy navigation.
