Founded in 1929, Fudoguchikan is a traditional ryokan located about an hour from Osaka City. In spring, guests can enjoy cherry blossoms, while autumn brings vibrant fall foliage—perfect for year-round seasonal views. The rooms and outdoor baths overlook the river, and in June, guests can even experience the beauty of fireflies.
Fudoguchikan is known for its seasonal cuisine, featuring local specialties such as Ōgi rice, Senshu onions, Matsunami cabbage, Mizunasu eggplant, and Inunaki Pork, all carefully prepared using handmade cooking techniques. The third-generation proprietress and her fourth-generation son continue to carry on the rich traditions of the ryokan, offering warm hospitality and authentic experiences that have been passed down through generations.
