🖌 What is Hand-Painted Yuzen?
Hand-Painted Yuzen is a traditional Japanese dyeing technique where intricate patterns are painted onto white fabric using a brush.
Artists carefully apply vibrant colors by hand, following an initial sketch, creating delicate and beautiful designs.
Developed during the Edo period, this technique became widely known for decorating kimono. Today, Yuzen art is also used for tapestries and interior decorations, bringing traditional elegance into modern spaces.
