✈️ Welcome to the Grand Opening of Kansai International Airport!

Since its opening in 1994, Kansai International Airport has undergone its first major renovation of the Terminal 1 Building.
The domestic and international areas have been completely transformed, and in 2023, a walk-through duty-free shop and four uniquely themed commercial zones were newly opened in the international departure area.

With the completion of all major functions in the Terminal 1 Building, the airport celebrated its grand reopening at the end of March 2025!
The integration and expansion of international security checkpoints, along with the opening of spacious shared airline lounges, have made the airport more streamlined and comfortable than ever, enhancing the overall travel experience.

Just a short trip from Kansai International Airport, the city of Izumisano invites you to relax in soothing onsen (hot springs), savor fresh local seafood, and stroll through charming historic streets.
