Spring Walk in _Inunakisan_ – “Teku-Teku” Guided Tour (Registration Now Open)

Inunakisan is known as one of the origins of Shugendo, a traditional Japanese mountain practice.
This guided tour offers a relaxing 4 km walk through peaceful mountain scenery surrounded by fresh spring greenery. 🚶♂️
Along the way, you will visit scenic and historic spots such as Gyōja no Taki Waterfall and Shipporyuji Temple, where nature and history come together. Take a moment to slow down, breathe deeply, and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere of the mountains. 🌳
A highlight of this tour is the rare opportunity to visit the Shugendo Museum located within the grounds of Shipporyuji Temple.
This area is usually not open to the public, making it a unique experience where you can learn about the history and culture of Shugendo through explanations by a local guide.
This tour is ideal for those who want to relax in nature, as well as for visitors interested in Japanese history and cultural experiences.

📍 Meeting Time & Point: 10:00 AM at Inunaki Ohashi Parking Lot
(1-minute walk from Inunakisan Bus Stop)
🏁 End Time: Around 2:00 PM
🗺️ Route (Approx. 4 km)
Inunaki Ohashi Parking Lot → Oikakeishi → Ryokai Falls → Oogomaba → Grave of the Loyal Dog → Shizu no Namidamizu → Shipporyuji Temple → Gyōja no Taki Waterfall → Migawari Fudo Myo-o (lunch) → Shugendo Museum (storytelling performance)

👥 Capacity: 50 participants (Advance reservation required / First-come, first-served)
💴 Participation Fee: ¥500 (includes insurance and materials)
⏳ Application Deadline: April 18, 2026
🎒 What to Bring: Lunch, drinks, rain gear, gloves, mat, towel, and appropriate clothing and footwear for hiking

The tour will proceed in light rain. In case of severe weather, it will be postponed to April 26.
