Discover Ajisai Flower Amulets at Nakami Shrine ✿

Beautiful hydrangeas carefully grown within the sacred grounds of Nakami Shrine have been delicately dried and transformed into special Ajisai Flower Amulets.
Each amulet carries heartfelt prayers for protection from misfortune and for the good health of women.
Traditionally in Japan, hanging them under the eaves or at your entrance is believed to ward off evil, while placing them near the bathroom is said to help protect against women’s ailments—customs passed down through generations.
Decorated with elegant red and white mizuhiki (traditional ceremonial cords) and a wooden tag, each amulet is available for a donation of ¥2,000.
