⛩️ A Beer Like a Lucky Charm, Blessed at a Shrine
This beer was ritually blessed at Senshu Iwafune Shrine (Senshu Aviation Shrine), located in the airport city of Izumisano. There, prayers were offered for safety and good fortune in the new year—turning this beer into something like a Japanese omamori (lucky charm).
✈️ It carries heartfelt wishes that “planes won’t fall” and 🍀 that “good fortune will never decline,” making it a perfect symbolic gift for new beginnings and journeys ahead.
🖋️ An Auspicious Label with Protective Meaning
The calligraphy on the label was carefully handwritten by Chief Priest Sato of Senshu Aviation Shrine. The phrase “Risshun Daikichi” (立春大吉) is traditionally written in a balanced calligraphic form—said to appear the same even when viewed from the reverse side. In Japan, this visual balance has long been associated with warding off misfortune and welcoming good fortune.
