Every New Year, Izumisano City hosts a traditional pilgrimage known as Rokushamairi, where visitors worship at six local Shinto shrines to pray for good fortune.
At the first shrine you visit, you purchase a special wooden wishing plaque called an Ema.
From January 1 to January 15, collect worship stamps (Goshuin, shrine prayer seals)at all six shrines—an auspicious New Year journey unique to Izumisano.

You may start at any shrine

Walk, jog, or explore by rental bicycle while visiting all six shrines
