Every mid-April, Inunaki-san Shipporyu-ji Temple solemnly conducts the Memorial Service for the Eleven-Faced Kannon Bodhisattva for Blessings and Protection. This sacred ceremony offers a rare opportunity to witness the Eleven-Faced Kannon Bodhisattva, a revered figure that is normally kept hidden from public view.

As worshippers quietly join their hands in prayer, a Goma fire ritual is also performed, offering heartfelt prayers for well-being and protection.

Experience the profound serenity of this sacred occasion as you offer your prayers before the revered Kannon, surrounded by the solemn tranquility of the temple grounds.

🚉 How to Get There:
From Nankai Main Line Izumisano Station or JR Hanwa Line Hineno Station,
Take the Nankai Bus bound for Inunakisan, and get off at “Inunakisan Bus Stop”.
Walk 150m to the Sōmon (sacred gate), then 900m (about 40 minutes on foot) to the temple hall.
