The 27th “The Matsuri in IZUMISANO” : September 28, 2025

In Izumisano, traditional culture meets a new style of festival where many citizens can join freely — this is The Matsuri in IZUMISANO.
You’ll be amazed by the powerful Danjīri (だんじり) floats with their dynamic “yarimawashi” maneuvers, the thrilling Yagura (やぐら) towers swinging in all directions to energetic chants, and the vibrant Yosakoi Naruko Odori (よさこい鳴子踊り) dance originating from Kōchi Prefecture.
Around the streets near Nankai Izumisano Station, excitement and cheers fill the air as tradition and modern spirit come together.
It’s a rare opportunity to witness three unique Japanese festival traditions in one day.Don’t miss this chance to experience the energy and beauty unique to Izumisano!

🏠 Venue: Nankai Izumisano Station Shopping Street & around Izumisano Center Building

• Yagura (Okamoto)
• Yosakoi Naruko Odori Teams
📌 Also joining is the “International Special Team,” organized by the “Ee ja nai ka Matsuri” Executive Committee. This team will perform on the final day of the Osaka Expo at the “Ee ja nai ka Matsuri” held in Izumisano.

• 12:40 Entry of Danjiri & Yagura
• 13:00 Official Opening Ceremony
• 13:15 Parade Start (Danjiri, Yagura procession, Yosakoi dance)
