Shin Taiko Bridge Opening Event（Rinku Park）: March 16, 2025

The renovation of Taiko Bridge at Rinku Park, which began in January 2024, is finally complete!
The bridge’s wooden surface has been replaced with beautiful sugi (cedar) boards, and new LED lighting has been installed. At night, the bridge will be illuminated, enhancing its charm even further.

To celebrate this transformation, the Shin Taiko Bridge Opening Event will be held on Sunday, March 16!
Enjoy a live musical performance by local schools, as well as an energetic Yosakoi dance performance. There will also be a flea market featuring over 200 items at various vendor booths. Plus, you can test your knowledge with the Taiko Bridge Quiz and enjoy a warm bowl of shiratama zenzai (sweet red bean soup with rice dumplings).
