From mid-May, the ajisai (hydrangeas) at Nakami Shrine burst into bloom, creating a vivid early summer landscape. On June 7, don’t miss Hana Akari, a one-night-only illumination event blending flowers × light × music × art × food—a true feast for the senses!
✨ Illuminated Garden & Glass Wind Chimes beneath the Wisteria Trellis
The shrine grounds will be transformed with glowing hydrangea displays. Beautiful furin (glass wind chimes) sway gently under a wisteria trellis, filling the evening air with refreshing tones.
🍴 Gourmet Market (12 vendors)
A lively marche featuring 12 stalls, including kitchen cars, offering local specialties and treats to enjoy.
🖌️ Handmade Lantern Workshop
Join a hands-on workshop with artist Yasuhiko Miyawaki to craft your own unique etegami andon (illustrated lantern).
🎶 Live Jazz Piano Performance
Enjoy a special live performance by jazz pianist Yuka Yanagihara, adding a soulful note to the evening ambiance.
