As part of the LOCAL JAPAN Exhibition at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, the LOCAL JAPAN Mascot Festival in Rinku will be held at the grassy plaza of Rinku Ice Park!
Local mascots from all over Japan will gather to promote their regions through stage performances, meet-and-greet sessions, and limited-edition character merchandise.
✨ Enjoy fun-filled programs for all ages!
👑 Special Guests: Inunakin & Yurunakin
Izumisano’s official mascot Inunakin, designed by manga artist Yudetamago (creator of Kinnikuman), is based on the legend of Mt. Inunaki and acts as a protector of the region.
He was the runner-up in the 2019 Yuru-Chara Grand Prix!
His chubby and adorable “brother” Yurunakin, born from Inunakin’s failed cloning technique, also took second place in the 2020 competition.
