Just across the signal from Old National Route 26, right beneath Izumisano Station, you’ll find mum’s kitchen Kikugawa. The name comes from the idea of a mother’s kitchen (Okan no Daidokoro) and the English word for chrysanthemum (mum). At the counter, you’ll see a variety of comforting homemade dishes, including local specialties like firm simmered beans—flavors so familiar and delicious, you’ll never get tired of them.
“Every dish is carefully handmade to offer the warm, nostalgic taste of home,” says the owner, Kazumi. Whether you’re visiting with friends, as a group, or dining solo, you’re always welcome here.
