22nd Senshu YOSAKOI Eejanaika Festival | October 17–18, 2026

The 22nd Senshu YOSAKOI Eejanaika Festival will take place in Rinku Town, just one train stop from Kansai International Airport.

Around 100 teams and approximately 3,000 dancers from across Japan are expected to take part. Dressed in colorful costumes and holding naruko wooden clappers, dancers will fill seven venues—including the main Asahi Chintai Rinku Stage, seaside areas, and parks—with energetic YOSAKOI performances.

Honiya returns as a guest team after appearing at last year’s festival. The acclaimed team won the Yosakoi Grand Prize, the festival’s top award, at the 2025 Kochi YosAKOI Festival. Look out for their colorful, dynamic performance.

The festivities begin with a pre-festival event at Myokoji Temple on Saturday, October 17, followed by the main festival around Rinku Town on Sunday. From performances at a historic temple to lively seaside stages, visitors can experience YOSAKOI in different settings over two days.

Located just one train stop from Kansai International Airport, the main festival is also a convenient option before or after a flight. Explore the different venues and discover your favorite YOSAKOI team.
