Jigen-in Temple
Located in Hineno, Jigen-in Temple is a temple of the Shingon Sect Omuro School. The Tahoto (pagoda), built during the Kamakura period, is the only national treasure in Izumisano City. The adjacent Kondo (main hall) is designated as an important cultural property. Experience history in the lush, green temple grounds. (Admission: Reservation required in advance.)

Hine Shrine

Kitashoji Sake Brewery
Izumisano’s only sake brewery. The 100-year-old wooden brewery is open on weekdays, while the renovated “Kura MotoCafe,” an oasis for riders and cyclists, is open only on weekends and holidays. Enjoy a warm cup of coffee brewed with the same water used for sake making and take home some local sake as a souvenir.
