Inunaki Mountain Shippoudaki Temple
Inunaki Mountain is Japan’s oldest sacred mountain, founded by En no Gyoja, the founder of Shugendo. At Gyoja’s waterfall, you can witness practitioners being struck by the falls. The Shugendo Plaza hosts the largest bronze statue of Fudō Myōō, Japan’s biggest of its kind.

Inunaki Mountain Hot Springs
A must-see for hot spring lovers! This is the only hot spring village in Osaka Prefecture, with three hot spring facilities: “Motoyu Onsen Yama no Yu,” “Fudoguchi-kan,” and “Minami-tei.” The hot springs, nestled in the lush nature at the foot of Inunaki Mountain, are beloved as “beauty hot springs” and attract many visitors from afar.

Izumisano City Designated Cultural Property: Former Mukai Family Residence
A traditional thatched-roof house, reminiscent of a scene from a Japanese folk tale. The floor plan includes the Kitchen Room, Tatami Room, Dining Room, and Nando Room, with an irori (hearth) in the Dining Room still in use. Visits require prior application, and entry is free of charge.
