🎭 Open Rehearsal: Chinuumi Creation Kagura ：Nov 9, 2025

Just one stop from Kansai Airport, an open rehearsal of the local kagura performance “Chinuumi Sōsei Kagura” will be held at Hoshi-no-Hiroba in front of Rinku-Town Station.
This special program is presented by the Chinuumi Sōsei Kagura Executive Committee, offering international visitors a chance to experience traditional performing arts inspired by legends and folklore from Izumisano.

The lineup of performances includes:
👘 “Sotoorihime-no-Mai” — based on the legend of Sotoorihime, a goddess of beauty, vitality, and graceful affection
🗡️ “Jinmu Tōsei Hotate-no-Mai” — a prayer dance for success and new beginnings, inspired by the founding story of Hine Shrine
🔥 “Hifushi-no-Mai (Hi-no-Kami Kagura)” — honoring the fire deity Kagutsuchi, performed to invoke both protection and inner strength
🔔 “Suzumai” — a joyful and auspicious ritual dance symbolizing blessing, gratitude, harmony, and prosperity

In addition, a rare musical presentation of “Ameyama Odori (Rain-prayer Dance)” — once performed in the Tsuchimaru / Ameyama Castle area during rain-invoking rituals — will be introduced in a special instrumental-only format (official full performance to be staged at a later date).

Let the ancient sound of prayer come alive once again under the evening sky at Hoshi-no-Hiroba.
